She’s Next, empowered by Visa, is a global advocacy program that aims to support women-owned small businesses through funding, training, and mentorship to help them take their businesses to new heights.

Smartista is an online marketing and technology platform for artists, visual arts enthusiasts and those with interest in the field. Amna, who founded the institution, hopes to help local artists grow and make a name for themselves, offering a wide variety of resources through the Smartista store, such as hosted technical sessions, and displaying, marketing and selling works of artists.

Founder of Etijah Coaching & Consulting

As someone who has worked in diverse industries like finance, real estate, investments and now coaching and consulting, Dina knows the value of forging one’s own path in life. Dina’s first entrepreneurial adventure was in the 5th grade, when she brought an inventory of accessories back from a holiday in Portugal. Purchased using an allowance from her grandfather, Dina sold the accessories to her schoolmates in Saudi Arabia, bringing a little taste of her holiday back home while also marking the first page in her entrepreneurial journey. That’s why her business, Etijah Coaching and Consulting, focuses on equipping students and young professionals with the tools to understand what they want, what they’re good at and what the correct path for them is. Whether it's applying to jobs, excelling at those jobs, or even picking the best job, Dina wants to help create an enabling environment for youth and women to overcome barriers in the labour market through this social enterprise.

Dina Shabib from Etijah Coaching & Consulting

Founder of I.C.T.A

‘I CAN TALK ARABIC (ICTA)’ is not your regular Arabic learning centre for foreigners, it’s also a hub for expats in Jeddah. It makes them feel welcome, loved and at home while experiencing the local culture first-hand. Hadeel Alabbasi’s motivation to start the center came from observing that many foreigners who came to Saudi Arabia for religious or professional reasons were unable to achieve their goals due to a lack of access to suitable Arabic language programs. After attending the MOSAIC summit, where she met with fellow delegates who were also struggling to learn Arabic, Hadeel was further inspired to take action towards her dream. She recognized that her knowledge of Arabic could be an asset in helping others learn the language, and she felt a strong sense of responsibility towards those around her, as well as a commitment to preserving the Arabic language. Since Hadeel co-founded ICTA she has been dedicated to providing quality Arabic language education and helping her students achieve their goals.

Founder of Protein app

The Protein app was the result of Asiah’s story of losing more than 50 kgs. After learning from experience, Asiah started the app to help others with their fitness and weight journeys.

The app provides automated and immediate nutritional and sports programs, with multiple, flexible options, to suit the circumstances and needs of any client. It also gives customers continuous follow-ups from nutritionists and sports coaches. Asiah knew the importance of being able to tailor to individual needs and aimed to add a personal touch to the app’s resources. After a lot of hard work and acquiring investment, the app has now reached over 130,000 users, connecting and bringing together thousands in the health community. Asiah is proud to be helping people achieve their goals in losing or gaining weight using healthy and constructive methods.

Founder of Deerasa

Deerasa is a business plan software created for startups, small businesses and home-based businesses and freelancers. Since most new and small entrepreneurs lack a finance or business background, Deerasa enables them to build winning business plans quickly and easily with step-by-step guidance. Khawlah Almadoudi, founder, started her journey when a colleague asked her to volunteer to train at a competition for female entrepreneurs. Since then, she freelanced as advisor, coach and startup judge committee member. Khawlah had a passion for helping small businesses and soon quit her job at a private equity firm to start making a bigger impact with Deerasa. Today, she believes that jump was well worth the risk.

Practical Business Skills

The Practical Business Skills program by Visa offers free educational resources and interactive tools to help business owners start, manage and grow their small businesses. The program is focused on helping forward-thinking entrepreneurs thrive via a variety of resources available in both English and Arabic.
